Bishan is developing town where important transportation lines meet. It is the intersection point of the busiest North-South line and Circle Line MRT network in Singapore. Because of this, property price of this area has skyrocketed in recent years.
Because of its relative close proximity to city centre and good infrastructure, many young parents are attracted to move to this area.
Currently there are 39 childcare centers operating in this area with three belong to My First Skool – one of the largest childcare operator in Singapore.
Another major operator of childcare centers in this area is PCF (PAP Community Foundation).It has four branches in Bishan.

Lowest fee should be charged by PCF as its fee is subsided. However, the subsidy is not applicable to foreigner or permanent resident here. For full day childcare, Singapore citizen has to pay about 700 while foreigners has to fork out 1100 per month- a huge difference.
Highest fee is about 2000 per month for full day childcare service in this area.
